I first met Caitlyn (by email at least!) a few months ago when I sent her photos of a wedding dress from Signature Bridal Salon, where Caitlyn is a consultant!

I loved working with Caitlyn and the salon, so when Caitlyn’s boss Ashley asked me if I would photograph Caitlyn’s surprise proposal from her boyfriend Otto, I was so excited to help get Caitlyn engaged!

Caitlyn & Otto met in a marketing class at Texas State and have been dating for two years. She quickly knew he was “the one”, and she’s been looking forward to this day nearly the entire time they’ve been together!

When you know, you know, right?

Their first date was at The Gristmill restaurant in Gruene, and with the help of Ashley, who surprised Caitlyn with the day off from work, Otto planned the perfect day in Gruene, ending with a stroll around The Gristmill. There, a table with photos, roses, a book titled “Will you marry me?”, and of course a ring, were waiting for them.

And after the proposal, their friends and family ran over from their hiding place to congratulate them!

It was perfect!
