Natalie & Jesse!!!! I feel like this is not enough exclamation points. What a fun engagement photo session. 🤩

They kept me on my toes…dancing, spinning, and dipping the whole time. I always tell couples that movement is the key to taking authentic, personality-filled engagement photos. They had NO problem with this.

We took their photos at two locations:

1. Sekrit Theater – my favorite East Austin greenhouse venue
2. Mueller Lake Park – a perfect blend of nature/urban

It’s possible that Natalie & Jesse have one of my favorite how-we-met stories EVER…

“We met roller skating 2.5 years ago! It was a Taylor Swift album release party, and both of us independently almost decided not to go because we thought it would be a lot of little kids. Well, it was a lot of little kids, and now we laugh about making eye contact over the sea of eight-year olds. Natalie smiled at Jesse (and his friend — Jesse turned to his friend and asked, “Was she smiling at you or me?”), Jesse skated up to Natalie a few minutes later, and we skated together for the rest of the party.”

🛼 And yes, they did bring their roller skates/blades to the session. I love this nod to how they met and the hobby they still love doing together.

Their bold red outfits that really popped with the greenery backgrounds of the Sekrit Theater greenhouse. The blues and purples in their second outfits looked beautiful with the lake at Mueller.

I can officially declare that they nailed it in every aspect of this session. 🏆
