Cadi & Brad are married!! I stand by my previous declaration that micro weddings are amazing. The Peter wedding proved this again. 😃

Their wedding weekend actually started on Thursday by blending cultures during a Chinese Tea Ceremony. They gathered their closest friends and family, and Cadi’s parents explained the history behind the traditional ceremony. Most people there (including their parents) had never met before, and this was an incredible event to kick things off.

Watching their families meet and become great friends was honestly one of my favorite parts of their whole wedding. From beginning to end, Cadi & Brad surrounded themselves with their favorite people, and every bit of their wedding was designed to include the most memorable experiences, beautiful sights, and great food as possible.

Their ceremony at The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center was sweet, simple, and so peaceful. Their good friend Lisa acted as their officiant and did an incredible job.

Afterward, we all drove to Central Standard on South Congress for drinks, dinner, funfetti cake (which Brad was particularly pumped about!), and some equally touching and hilarious toasts from nearly everyone around the table. This was the highlight of the night. It was oftentimes hard to tell who was crying real tears or crying from laughing. 😂

I couldn’t be happier for Cadi & Brad. Though we hadn’t ever met in person before their wedding (which was a destination wedding for them), I feel like I’ve known them for years. Congratulations, you two!
