Ahhh Mackenzie & Clay’s wedding! It’s been on my list to blog ASAP, because I loved being a part of this wedding so much. 🤩

I first met Mackenzie & Clay when Clay proposed at Laguna Gloria in 2023. I then took their engagement photos at Mount Bonnell, and her bridal photos also at Laguna Gloria. After seeing her dress, I knew this would be a gorgeous wedding. She has the best style.

They were married at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa, one of the most beautiful resorts in Texas. Mackenzie actually works there too!

Their wedding included all sorts of personal touches, including a stunning split floral arch, unique food stations (oysters, anyone?), cute parasols for their guests, the most realistic UT Bevo cake, and a live band.

The Nightowls were the STAR of their reception. 🎷🎺 Somehow I hadn’t seen this band before, but now I’ll be singing their praises for the rest of time. They were incredible and brought so much energy! They walked through the packed dance floor, singing and playing their instruments alongside the guests.

I don’t think I’m allowed to declare this the most fun reception I’ve witnessed, but I’ll say it’s near the top, for sure. 🏆

The band even pulled Mackenzie on Clay on stage to dance and sing into the microphones in front of their screaming fans. Literally. They made Mackenzie & Clay look like rockstars. Scroll down to see some of my favorite photos from this moment.

Overall, Mackenzie & Clay’s wedding was a ton of fun. I have the best job. Congratulations, you two!
