Downtown Austin has several beautiful courthouses, and today I’m featuring a wedding at a location you may not have seen before!

Anna & Vince were married at the Travis County Civil and Family Courts Facility… aka 1700 Guadalupe. It’s a more modern looking alternative to the historic HMS courthouse (my fancy abbreviation for the Heman Marion Sweatt Travis County Court House)… aka 1000 Guadalupe.

Are you following me? I’m getting specific because if you’re planning an Austin courthouse wedding, you need to know the difference. 😆

This courthouse features modern architecture, granite walls, and high-rise views of the city.

Anna, Vince, and their families, made their short & sweet ceremony very fun! Anna’s family even travelled from Scotland to be there.

Afterward, we all went over to the historic HMS courthouse for photos as well. So they got the best of both locations.
