When I first met Stacey & Matt at their engagement session, I asked them what they were looking forward to the most about being engaged and getting married.

She told me that she simply wanted to “marry Matt and dance the night away” with the people they love most. They wanted their wedding day to be a big party… and it was!

The Maurers had a blast and rolled with whatever came their way, including some unpredictable weather. After deciding to move their outdoor Ceremony under a gorgeous covered patio, the sun decided to come out for the first time in (what feels like) weeks, giving the sky a soft golden glow throughout the day. Talk about perfect weather!

But honestly, no matter where they decided to have their Ceremony, they couldn’t have gone wrong! Star Hill Ranch is one of the coolest venues in town with so many awesome locations. It’s a recreation of a small 1900’s Texas town, with a main street made up of old buildings with beautiful trees and hill country views surrounding it: a photographer’s dream!

Aside from the perfect venue and weather, Stacey & Matt also had an awesome wedding party. In the morning, Stacey’s bridesmaids volunteered to do anything to be helpful, and later in the night, that same fun spirit and love for their best friends definitely came out on the dance floor!
