It’s awesome getting to meet couples for the first time at their engagement session. There’s no better way to get to know each other, and we can treat it like a practice run for their wedding portraits! You learn how to get comfortable in front of the camera, how to hug and kiss each other in public (which isn’t always normal feeling TBH), and by the end of the session, you’ve mastered it and have made beautiful portraits!

Jenny & Blake showed up ready to have fun and explore McKinney Falls, and that’s what we did! I really couldn’t have asked for a better session.

They first met each other on the Frio River in Concan, Texas back in 2009. They soon figured out that they both went to Texas State University, and became attached at the hip! After 9 years of dating – 4 of those years being long distance  – they’re engaged and are planning their September wedding in Round Rock. I can’t wait!
