As soon as I met Alison & Patrick, I could see their undeniable connection and how great of a match they are for each other. They’ve been together for 7 years, and the level of comfort together is also undeniable, which is so important when taking engagement photos.

I also felt connected to them because they met in almost exactly the same way that Matt & I met – in college marching band!

They were both in UT’s band and had the job of carrying big flags during football games. As I know personally, there’s just something about that environment that brings people together. Alison & Patrick are so glad that it did!

They got engaged last summer on a weekend trip to Dallas to see a Panic! at the Disco concert. (Guess what I listened to while preparing this blog?)

Now, they’re planning their December wedding, and we took advantage of the beautiful spring weather and bluebonnets for their engagement photos.

I wish their wedding was sooner, because I’m already excited to hang out with them again, but I’ll just have to look forward to Alison’s bridals this fall!
