This part of Texas explodes with wildflowers every Spring, and this year, there’s been a particularly amazing bloom.

Lauren wanted to take advantage of the flowers during her and Sam’s engagement photos, and I was totally on board. She wanted bluebonnets and we definitely got them!

Lauren & Sam met a couple years ago at a church program and then again a few months later at a mutual friend’s wedding. After seeing each other for a second time, they hit it off and never looked back! 6 months later, Sam knew she was the one and brought her to Old Settlers Park – where they officially started dating – to propose. She was shocked and very excited to say yes!

This weekend we explored McKinney Falls for their engagement photos, and these two were SO great to photograph. They were comfortable wrapped up in each others arms, so we spread out a blanket and enjoyed the flowers.
