The Hoglund wedding! What a blast. I couldn’t edit these and get them on the blog fast enough.
This was a BIG wedding, with 20 wedding people in their wedding party and enough guests to pack the venue. And I’m not surprised that Kristen & Erik have so many friends!
They’re two of the nicest people, and their love for each other was fun to witness and photograph. They were both excited and ready to be married. Kristen was glowing from excitement the entire day.
Their first look was one of my favorite behind-the-scenes moments of the morning. After they embraced, Kristen surprised Erik with a present: his late mother’s engagement ring made into a pin for him to wear on his jacket. It was a special moment between the two of them and just one example of the love and thoughtfulness they bring out in each other.
The same thoughtfulness was clearly put into the whole wedding. All of the details and decor were stunning inside of Canyonwood Ridge’s already beautiful rooms. The florals and bouquets were designed by one of Kristen’s bridesmaids, and the food was incredible (I seriously want to know how that chicken was seasoned.)
At the end of the day, their reception was p.a.c.k.e.d from the moment the dance floor opened to their sparkler exit. Every time DJ Brian Weber put on another 90’s song, the crowd went crazy and everyone knew the words and nostalgic dance moves to go along with each song.
Mr. & Mrs. Hoglund… congratulations!
