Linda & Brian’s Proposal at Zilker Park

4/28/19

Ahhh this proposal! What a fun morning.

Brian contacted me just a few days ago to act if I was available, and I was! I’m so happy he did, because witnessesing this sweet proposal was an amazing way to end a week FULL of senior and engagement sessions.

Brian & Linda started dating four years ago after they met on a flag football team at UT. This Friday, Linda graduated with her master’s degree, and Brian thought this would be the perfect weekend to propose in Austin before they move into their new house in Houston!

He brought her to Zilker Park to have a “picnic” and to do something special to celebrate her graduation. After they laid down their blanket and sat down in the middle of the park, Brian opened their picnic basket to pull out a book he had made filled with memories and photos from their years together.

After she emotionally flipped through the pages, he asked her to stand up, and he dropped to one knee to propose! She had expected him to propose on their upcoming trip to Japan, and was very surprised for it to happen even sooner! She said, “I thought you were going to give me a dog! You were talking about dogs the whole way here!” 😂

She was definitely happy with a ring, though!

Linda & Brian, thanks for letting me photograph one of your most special moments!
