Choosing a beautiful + meaningful location and bringing your DOGS with you? Yep, that’s the recipe for an amazing engagement session.

Stephanie & Tyler showed me around the trail and fields right outside their home, and we enjoyed a golden, summer sunset. It was made even more perfect by Stephanie’s bright yellow dress and the yellow wildflowers we found.

Dottie and Oakley, their adorable and energetic dogs, joined us for the second half of the session. They were awesome at taking photos and made things even more fun.

Stephanie & Tyler grew up in neighboring towns in Indiana, but happened to meet when they both found themselves in Austin. What are the chances?!

They got engaged in January while visiting their friends in Colorado and excitedly told me about Tyler’s proposal, about the amazing views from the lookout point where he dropped to one knee, about the fresh snowfall, and about the complete shock and surprise Stephanie felt that day.

They’re both great storytellers and just fun to hang out with. I can’t wait to celebrate them at their wedding next April!
