“We’re engaged!! We’re super engaged!”

Kaitlyn yelled this into the air and to everyone walking by on the boardwalk. She as so incredibly happy and overwhelmed, and I could tell she was having an out of body experience, soaking in every bit of that important moment.

Thomas planned a sweet and private proposal on the boardwalk, followed by fun surprise party afterward at Eberly.

If you haven’t been to Eberly, stop what you’re doing and make a dinner reservation right now. It’s an amazing restaurant with some of the most unique, stylish decor I’ve ever seen. Every room is different, and Thomas & Kaitlyn’s party was in a room that I would describe as part greenhouse, part library. (Scroll down to see the photos)

SO many people came to their surprise party, and nearly every one of them flew across the country to be there. That’s dedication, and it shows how much they’re loved by their friends and family.

Every part of this proposal was special, including the ring Thomas gave Kaitlyn. He found an antique diamond from an antique jewelry store near his hometown in Alabama and custom designed a setting for it.
