Every time I see Katelyn & Austin, we have the best time! I first met them for coffee a few months ago to talk about their wedding photography. That’s when I found out even though they were planning their wedding, they weren’t actually engaged yet! They had been together for a long time and planned to get engaged soon, but they were waiting for her engagement ring to be created and delivered before he officially asked her.

So after our first meeting, Austin and I started secretly planning his proposal to Katelyn, and I was there to photograph it once the time came!

Our third time hanging out was at their engagement session! We drove into the hill country west of Austin to Katelyn’s family ranch. It was the PERFECT spot for engagement photos. The ranch is huge and has tons of beautiful places to take photos… almost too many beautiful places. But we managed to narrow them down and visit some of their favorite areas, which we could only get to by riding in an ATV. They also brought along their adorable dogs, which made things even more fun!
