Dirty boots, a boho dress, and incredible mountains around us. Alexandra & Garrett are insanely cool for being willing (and excited!) to run around Rattlesnake Lake in Washington with me for this elopement shoot.

They first met at a wedding in Colorado where Alexandra was the coordinator and Garrett was a guest. She lived in the PNW and he lived in Austin, but they made it through a long period of dating long distance.

Earlier this year, he surprised her in Seattle two days before her birthday and brought her to the lake where they had their first picnic together. They walked along a path to the beach, decorated with roses and photos, along with all of his boarding passes from many cross country trips to see her. When they got to the lake, he proposed 😭

Now he’s living in Seattle too, and they’re starting their lives together as husband & wife!

They have the sweetest story, and so incredibly natural and themselves in front of the camera. I really can’t say enough good things about them and this special elopement adventure session. Look through the photos below to see what I’m talkin’ about!
