An incredible sunrise, endless snowy mountains, and an awesome couple (who happen to be my brother-in-law and future sister-in-law, Alyssa & Zach)!
Two years ago, we celebrated Matt’s parents’ anniversary at Purgatory Ski Resort in Durango, where they went on their honeymoon over 30 years ago. This year, they invited us on another ski trip for Christmas, this time in Telluride, Colorado.
First of all, I highly recommend this cute mountain town, even if you’re not a winter sports person. The views are stunning from every direction, and the free gondola system from the ski resort into town is the best way to see the mountains.
On this year’s trip, Alyssa joined us! She’s officially joining the Garrison family this year, and I’m pretty dang excited about gaining such an amazing sister-in-law. You’ve done well, Zach 👍👍
We decided to take advantage of mountain views outside our cabin and take some engagement photos one morning. We lucked out by choosing a day with a gorgeous sunrise. The pink morning light reflecting off of the snow was so nice.
As you’ll probably guess, it was COLD. Around 15 degrees. Shoutout to Alyssa for wearing the second outfit in below freezing temperatures!
Can’t wait for their wedding this summer!
