Krista was the new girl working at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, so she didn’t want to be toooooo eager about getting to know Leo, but she liked him right away. And when he gave her his phone number, she figured it was a normal coworker gesture, but NOPE… turns out he liked her too 😉 Fast forward a year, and now they’re getting married!!

I loved hearing this story, 1. because it’s super cute, and 2. because I ALSO met Krista through the Wildflower Center.

She handles events at the Wildflower Center, helps photographers schedule photo sessions, and greets every photographer when they arrive for the their shoot. So last Spring, when I photographed a proposal there, I met Krista! It was a brief interaction, but I remember her being super friendly and having a cute outfit haha. Well Krista remembered me too! She said that out of all the photographer’s she’s met, I stuck out as being nice and down-to-earth 😭The feeling’s mutual, girl! 🥰

This session was a blast. Krista & Leo are so fun, full of life, admire each other a lot, and are so so so in love. Can’t wait for their wedding in a few months!

To get Leo to laugh, Krista was very quietly whispering things in Spanish to him WHILE she was smiling. Pure talent.
