When I met Carolyn & Mark last year at Mark’s proposal in Austin, we clicked right away. It took me about 10 seconds to realize how fun and friendly they are. Not to mention, they’re incredibly cute together in front of the camera.
Shortly after Mark’s proposal, they asked me about photographing their wedding in Ithaca, New York. I was completely on board! Getting to travel across the country and spending more time with this awesome couple? Yeah, count me in. 👍
They told me to enjoy my stay at La Tourelle and that I should consider myself a wedding guest and part of the family. And I totally did! Their friends and family are just as fun and welcoming as they are.
Carolyn & Mark’s wedding was much smaller than they originally planned, and their guest list included only immediate family and a few of their closest friends. Despite many changed plans, their wedding weekend included all of the important things: quality time spent with family, incredible food and drinks, funny stories told around a fire pit, and marriage vows shared in a beautiful setting.
Carolyn & Mark are a perfect fit for each other, and much of their officiant’s ceremony speech and their friends’ reception toasts were centered around that fact. Every single guest was truly thrilled to be a part of their wedding and to see them so happy together.
Congratulations, you two!! 🎇🎉
