The Custer wedding!
First, let me say that I freaking love the lighting in all of their photos. This was my first time at Texas Old Town, and I’m READY to go back, especially in the Fall. Pam & Brandon timed their wedding perfectly with the best Fall leaves of the year. 🍁 The bridesmaids’ green velvet dresses looked stunning in front of the yellow leaves.
One of my favorite moments of the day was their first look. It was magical, not only because of the beautiful setting, but because Pam’s gorgeousness literally made Brandon speechless. The look of pure happiness on his face was so cool to witness.
Their first look kicked off a whole day full of meaningful and personalized touches. Their officiant, for example, spoke the entire ceremony in both English and Spanish to make sure guests from both sides felt included and understood completely. AMAZING.
Their wedding also confirmed what I already knew: Pam, Brandon, & I have exactly the same taste in TV shows and music. The pop culture references were on point. 👏👏👏
During the ceremony, they shared vows that made everyone tear up. At one point, while fighting back both laughter and tears, Pam said “Like the great American poet Ariana Grande once said ‘I’m so into you. I can barely breathe.'” 😂
During the reception, Pam’s Maid of Honor Kristen gave an incredible toast where she listed all of the best TV comedy couples (Ben & Leslie, Ross & Rachel, etc.). She ended by saying that she hopes everyone finds the Brandon to their Pam.
And when it was Pam’s turn to thank their guests, she explained exactly how grateful she was by saying, “I feel God in this Stone Hall tonight.” She was even wearing white Keds while she said it! AMAZING. (If you don’t understand this, ya better watch The Office S2 E1 TODAY.)
And the last pop culture reference I’ll shoutout: Their first dance was to “Simply the Best” and it ended with them dancing just like David in Schitt’s Creek. Again, AMAZING.
Congratulations, Pam & Brandon!!
Brandon’s reaction. 🥺 He was so genuinely happy. THIS is why first looks can be so great. Right afterward, Brandon even said that he was glad they set aside time for this private time together.
I’m obsessed with these fall colors!
If you’re planning a #CovidWedding, take note of this idea! Before entering the ceremony, guests were encouraged to choose a colored wrist band showing what level of socialization they’re comfortable with.
Their “Flower Man” was DEDICATED. Great job, dude. 👏
