Tara’ & Lee’s wedding was full of love, color, beautiful landscapes, dancing, and ice cream. 😋
They were married on a beautiful hill country overlook at Shiraz Garden in Bastrop. Tara and I explored her stunning venue for her bridal portraits a month earlier, and I fell in love with its beautiful views and unique architecture. This an amazing place for outdoor weddings near Austin!
On their wedding day, every single bit of decor perfectly featured the venue and matched Tara & Lee’s cool, effortless style. I loved the pampas grass and the colorful florals which were all styled by Tara’s sister Heather! And Tara’s dad built the incredible ceremony arch and reception swing. 👏👏👏
The reception space was also decorated by fire and water features and a neon sign on a greenery wall.
Shiraz Garden is huge, and it was fun watching guests explore different areas and take a scenic walk up the hill to their ceremony space. Tara & Lee’s good friend was their officiant and she personalized their ceremony perfectly! She told the story of how Tara & Lee met, and more importantly, she explained the ongoing debate about who gets the credit for setting them up. This argument carried into several of the toasts too, because multiple people claim this honor 😂
The night ended with lots of dancing and an Amy’s Ice Cream truck pulling right up to the dance floor. Did you know that Amy’s makes s’mores too?? I highly recommend this.
Congratulations, Tara & Lee!
