#MarryMeMonday🥂 Brooks came to me with the idea of proposing at Reimers Ranch. He said he loves rock climbing there with his girlfriend Brooke, so it would be a meaningful place to ask her to marry him.

This also happens to be one of my favorite places to hike with my husband and dog. It’s gorgeous, and never very crowded. You should check it out, but don’t tell too many people, because it needs to stay special. 😉

Brooke and Brooks met two years ago while skiing with mutual friends in Colorado.

This was his plan:

“I created a fake invitation for a Texas Art Exhibit that a gallery in Marble Falls was putting together to raise money for the ranch. It was a private invite, so she couldn’t look up the event online. On the invite, I made sure to include “Formal Western Attire” so she would dress appropriately for the engagement.”

Pretty smart, right?? 👏

The energy was HIGH afterward. I think they were both in shock and couldn’t believe what just happened. There were also plenty of tears as they listened to their favorite music and let it all soak in.
