Almost 7 years ago, it all started with an Instagram follow. Joe and Haley went to the same gym and had seen each other around. When he found her Instagram account, they started talking, he asked her on a diner date, and the rest is history. It’s such a modern love story.

Since then, they’ve moved across the country to Austin and built a life together. Joe was more than ready to make to marry her, and he contacted me to get started planning his proposal! He thought the waterfall at Zilker Botanical Garden was the perfect spot and wanted to add roses and candles to make it extra special.

It was Joe’s birthday, and he asked her to go to garden on the way to dinner.

After walking through the garden, he led Haley to this spot. She couldn’t have been happier! She wore the most beautiful white dress that was perfect for this winter proposal. Also, check out that ring!
