I woke up on Sunday morning to find Lubbock and Texas Tech covered in quite a bit of snow. While I had planned to take the day off from working, my fear of it being my last good Lubbock snow sent me out into the cold to take a few photos for The Daily Toreador. The campus was pretty dead but I managed to find one person out enjoying the snow.

On Thursday it snowed again, and unlike many other Texas universities (in places that are much less cold and icy), Tech did not cancel or delay class. Some students were pretty upset about it, and while taking photos of cars driving on an icy road, I accidentally got a photo of a student slipping in the middle of the road right in front of a car.
