Christmas-time Georgetown Proposal | Jess & Aaron

12/24/18

Every single proposal is different, but the more personalized and unique the better. In my opinion, Aaron totaled nailed it.

Aaron & Jess visited the Georgetown square at Christmas-time last year, so he knew that she loves the lights there every December. So here’s how it went down…

They did a Christmas themed escape room right on the square. The last step of the escape room revealed a key and a letter pre-written by Aaron telling them to leave the escape room, walk out on the square, and complete a puzzle. They strolled around the square to find a table set up with a letter board and a locked box. Their key opened the box, which was filled with the letters needed to complete the board. Once they filled in the letters, it read “Escape with me forever?”. Then, he got down on one knee and proposed!

Isn’t that amazing?? He wins the creativity award.

Congratulations, Jess & Aaron! It was so nice getting to know you and being a part of this special day of your lives. Have a ton of fun being engaged!

From Aaron

“Leading up to the proposal, Lauren reached out to me to discuss logistics and really helped put me at ease about concerns that I had. During the proposal itself, I had no idea she was there, and yet, she was able to capture amazing photos. Shortly after the proposal, she photographed a mini-engagement session for my fiance and I, and we are absolutely in love with the results! The best part about it all was that Lauren was able to turn around all edited photos to us in less than 3 hours (what!? amazing); we were able to show our family and friends the beautiful photos she took later that night! In short, Lauren is wonderful to work with.”
