I’m very excited to share some of Mary Alice & Kevin’s wedding photos on the blog today!
I met Kevin right after I moved to Austin 5 years ago, and we got to know each other really while by working together every day. If I remember correctly, the first time I met Mary Alice was at my own wedding, not long after they first started dating. It was immediately clear that he found someone special.
He’s a character, and he found exactly the right girl to appreciate his endless jokes, and to keep up with his high-energy personality. Mary Alice is the sweetest person, and they’re the perfect match.
They planned a ridiculously cool wedding, with a huge wedding party of friends and family, the most personalized groom’s cake I’ve ever seen, and colorful florals filling their downtown venue. Plus, Mary Alice is gorgeous and looked incredible in her custom dress. (See her bridals here!)
And the reception was insane. Both Mary Alice & Kevin were dancing at 100% effort all night. Every time the next 90’s–early 2000’s song was played, their enthusiasm and energy was renewed. There’s no doubt they were having the time of their lives.
Never before have I seen the bride’s dad sit on the shoulders of a guest to be paraded around the dance floor. It was awesome.
To end the night, they walked down Congress Ave. through a tunnel of sparklers and hopped on a pedicab!
Mary Alice & Kevin, thank you for trusting me to document this incredible day. Congratulations!!
Mary Alice wore her great grandmother’s earrings.
The groom’s cake was a combination of all of Kevin’s favorite sports teams in one stadium!
