Matt’s proposal to Kirsten was simple, sweet, personalized, and in a beautiful setting. I’d say that’s the recipe for a perfect proposal!

They live in Virginia, but are thinking about moving to Texas soon, so they planned a short trip in San Antonio and Austin to check it out.

Matt had heard about Mount Bonnell, and since Kirsten loved the outdoors, he wanted to ask the question while they enjoyed the view and while she read a custom book he made about their relationship and lives together.

I was hiding in the bushes around the corner, and I think based on the laughs and awww‘s I heard while she was reading the book, I’d say she loved it.

Congratulations, you two! I can’t wait for your wedding in OBX, North Carolina next summer!
