Tara & Lee! Man, they’re awesome. End of blog post.

Ok, but really. I love hanging out with these two. Their engagement photos were fun and easy, because they’re both easy going people, and they’re simply a great match together.

I first met them at Lee’s proposal a few months ago. Lee proposed in front of the iconic Austin Motel sign, which he asked the motel to customize with a message for Tara. If that was the end of his proposal, it would already be amazing. But next, he drove her (in a fancy rented Tesla) to an afterparty where their friends were waiting. And THEN, he drove her to a remote spot in the hill country where they boarded a HELICOPTER for a private ride.

Just amazing. Well done, Lee.

We took their engagement photos at the Zilker Botanical Garden and Zilker Park. I love this combination of locations!

The real star of the show was their pug Max. He’s adorable, and is Tara’s best friend/ biggest fan.

I can’t wait for their wedding later this year at Shiraz Garden in Bastrop. And I get to see Tara again for her bridal portraits soon too!
