What a day! Stacy & Kyle’s wedding was full of intentional and beautiful moments. They packed so many meaningful memories into one day, and I had a blast photographing every bit of it!
One of my favorite moments was tiny, and only a few people witnessed it. While Stacy and Kyle were doing their “First Touch” before the ceremony, they exchanged gifts. Stacy gave Kyle a Tissot watch, and after opening the packaging, he handed the watch back to Stacy. At first, I was confused. Then Kyle explained that he knew Stacy would enjoy peeling the plastic cover off of the watch. This is something she always does at home when they buy new things, and it was a no-brainer that she would do it today. This may seem silly, but I loved seeing this example of how well they know and care about each other.
Another favorite moment was Stacy’s first look with her dad. After she tapped him on the shoulder, he turned around and immediately got emotional. He first comments were about how proud he was of Stacy and how much he loves her. Then he told her how beautiful she looked in her dress. The order of his initial thoughts were significant.
Annnnnnnnd one more favorite moment!! At the start of the ceremony, Stacy handed all of the women in their families a silk rose. This was a special surprise to each of them, but especially to Stacy’s mom and grandmother, as Stacy’s mom did this at her own wedding.
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs, Eubank!
Stacy & Kyle wanted to recreate their favorite painting hanging in their home. They actually brought this red umbrella to their engagement session and bridal portraits too!
