The Richelsen wedding! After Ashley & Matt’s fun engagement session, I KNEW their wedding would be a blast. (Side note – go here to see their photos and read about how they met. It’s such a good story.)

First of all, their reception was WILD. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the dance floor was packed literally 100% of the time. (shoutout to DJ Brian Weber 👏)

Ashley had several surprises and pranks in store for Matt throughout the day, including a fake first look with his best man, and a choreographed danced performed with the bridesmaids. She also “iced” Matt by hiding a Smirnoff Ice under her dress during the garter toss. 😂 I’m not surprised at all, because they love having fun together. They’re super driven and motivated people, but also don’t seem to take life too seriously. They’ve know each other for a loooong time, and they make a great team.

That was actually the theme of nearly every toast made by their parents and wedding party. Ashley & Matt were both athletes in school, and in some ways, they’ve been training their whole lives for marriage. It’s all about teamwork and putting each other first.

And speaking of their “team”, some of my favorite photos are the ones with their corgi, Pita. He looked adorable in his tux and bowtie 😍

Congratulations, Ashley & Matt! I hope you’re having an incredible time in Hawaii!
