Jacquelyn & Nobi’s drove allll the way across the country with their dog Cashew for their Chapel Dulcinea + Canyon Lake elopement.🛣 They had never been to the Texas hill country before, but they thought it would be the perfect place to elope. They’re adventurous people, and it felt right to blend their elopement and honeymoon in a fun travel experience. After going through Austin and San Antonio, they continued on to New Orleans!
I personally LOVE elopements, especially at Chapel Dulcinea. The view from the chapel is amazing, it feels romantic and private, and the architecture is incredibly unique.
Cashew stood beside his parents, and it was so special having him there. 🥰 I love the photos we took with him afterward. He has the cutest personality and constantly wiggled his butt from excitement.
While planning their elopement, Jacquelyn & Nobi decided they wanted to take more photos at a second location, and since they were staying in Wimberley, I suggested Canyon Lake! It ended up being even better than we imagined! This is my favorite lake in the area, because of the clear blue water and the rocky cliffs. We walked along the lakeshore and stood in the water to watch the sunset. It was a beautiful and peaceful end to the day.
Elopements like this, with couples who trust both my creative and organizational abilities, are what make me love being a photographer. If this type of intimate elopement speaks to you, I’m happy to be your photographer, planner, and tour guide. 😊
Congratulations, Jacquelyn & Nobi!
