Joshua contacted me several months ago to tell me his plans to propose while visiting Austin in September. He lives in Kentucky with his girlfriend Alexandria, and they’re planning to move to Austin next year. He said they love wineries, but had never been to any in the Texas hill country. I suggested a few of the most scenic vineyards, and William Chris Vineyards was the winner!

Joshua & Alexandria met 3 years ago…

“She was out with a group of friends and one of them was wearing the same Dunder Mifflin shirt that I was. Alex and I are both huge fans of the show The Office, so we got to talking and she bet that she knew more about the show than I did. We ended up having a little office trivia competition on the spot to see who actually knew more, and we have been talking non-stop ever since!”

As a huge Office fan myself, I love this story!

After a private wine tasting and mini tour of the vineyard, Joshua lead Alexandria to a gorgeous pergola, where a flowers and a book were waiting for her. Inside the book were photos taken throughout their relationship. The last photo showed her engagement ring with their two dogs. 🥰

It’s always fun to photograph proposals at new locations, and I have a feeling I’ll be back to William Chris, because it’s gorgeous, and this was a great experience for Joshua & Alexandria!
