#MarryMeMonday🥂 A proposal at one of my favorites venues in Austin? I’m in 🙋🏼‍♀️

Matt contacted me a few weeks ago, telling me his plans to propose to his girlfriend Julia in November. We got to work planning his dream proposal, and he chose Mattie’s as the location.

Julia & Matt had talked extensively about getting married, and he had a feeling that she knew he would propose soon. He had also been taking Julia on special date nights for a few weeks. This built anticipation for his proposal and also threw her off about when it would actually happen.

They had never eaten at Mattie’s before, but it had been on their list of restaurants to try. They had also already talked about considering the venue for their future wedding. He asked if she wanted to check it out, and they arrived a bit before the restaurant opened to “have drinks at the bar”. When they walked up to the beautiful old home, instead of walking inside, Matt led Julia to the back patio. Flowers, champagne, and a note were waiting for them.

Matt saw the table and couldn’t wait another second. He dropped to his knee, and you know the rest. 😊
