When we all look back on our wedding photos in 40 years, we’ll probably notice that our hair, dress, and decorations reflect the era and trends of the time. Hopefully those things don’t make us cringe, but maybe a tiny cringe is normal. 😅

We don’t think all of your photos should strongly reflect whatever was trendy at the time though. We've seen a lot of styles come and go. Super bright, super dark, super edgy… you name it.

It's easy to see tends that pass through the wedding world, because weddings are naturally so visual and filled with beautiful things! Words like "light & airy" or "dark & moody" get used to describe editing styles, but we'd say our style lands right in the middle. Your photos won't look drastically different than the way everything looked in real life. We seek out bright and colorful backgrounds, and find beautiful light that will make you stand out!

If you feel like yourself, (and not a stiff, posed version of yourself) you'll LOVE your photos. We'll help you pose, but the key to having natural, candid looking photos is movement. Lauren has been a photographer for over 14 years and began photographing weddings 12 years ago. She started as a photojournalist, working for newspapers and magazines. Today, she brings that documentary style to her wedding photography.

She lives in Austin with her husband (a teacher) and her dog Walter (the best boy).

Honestly, it's strange to brag on ourselves, but we're very confident in our abilities as photographers. We don't miss shots because we were busy changing the settings of our cameras.

What makes us different?

Let's be real...there are many wedding photographers in Texas. Over the years, I've worked alongside lots of other photographers, so I know what makes us unique.

I deliver lots of photos

Your final photo gallery will be MUCH larger than industry standard.  Because we love candids, and we know what we're doing behind the camera, we're going to take lottttsss of photos. And during the culling process, I don't hold back. These are your memories, and you deserve to keep them forever.

We work like journalists

Lauren's years working as a photojournalist taught her how to take truly candid photos. This means you'll have genuine photos of your guests talking to each other, laughing, and dancing. They won't even know their photo was taken, which means they don't feel awkward or pressured into "acting candid". 🤦‍♀️

After you cut your cake, we'll take a photo of it. Why? Because it's cool to have photos of what actually happened at your wedding. Not just the perfect, magazine worthy photo of your cake, but of real, messy, behind-the-scenes memory of what your cake looked like after cutting it.
