There’s a brand new proposal on the blog today!

Tom planned an INCREDIBLE proposal to his future-wife, Haley. (When talking about proposals, I like to say “future-wife” instead of girlfriend!)

Haley & Tom first met at a concert in Austin almost three years ago, and have often visited Zilker Park for ACL and to hang out with their adorable Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rhody. Tom decided Zilker would be the perfect spot to ask her to be his wife.

And because Rhody is such a big part of their family, he was a key part of the plan…

Tom told Haley that the three of them were going to take family portraits at Zilker – a great excuse to get dressed up and head to this scenic spot at sunset. At the beginning of the session, Rhody wore a blue bandana with his name on it, but a few minutes in to the session, I distracted Haley while Tom pulled new bandana out of this shoe and put it on Rhody behind her.

When she turned around, he asked Haley to adjust the bandana, and she noticed that it now said something different!

“Will my marry my daddy?”

She looked back up at Tom in disbelief and excitement, he got down on one knee, and she said yes!

Oh, and there was also a bandana that said “She said yes”

Tom did a wonderful job creating the perfect proposal for Haley. Congratulations to all three of them!
