When Jared told Jena he loved her for the first time, they were standing near a fountain in their college town of La Crosse, Wisconsin. So after 5 years of dating, he wanted to ask Jena to marry him near a fountain in their new home of Austin. After some online searching, Jared discovered a beautiful fountain at Duchman Family Winery. Then we got in touch and started planning his proposal!

After dinner at the winery’s Italian restaurant Trattoria Lisina, they walked outside and stopped in front of the fountain. I think you know the rest. 💍😄

I had a blast with this proposal because 1. I hadn’t been to this specific spot before, and 2. Jena & Jared are such fun people! Jena’s reaction was incredible, and they both laughed constantly while taking photos afterward. I love meeting couples for the first time but feeling like I’ve known them forever.

After their proposal, they went on a winery tour and later had a celebration with friends and family. Congratulations, Jared & Jena! 🥳
