9/11/21
After since Carolyn & Neil’s campfire + cabin engagement photos, I’ve been counting down the days until their wedding.
Y’all… it did not disappoint. Looking back on their day, I think of family, inclusion, creativity, and COLOR. 🌈 Lots and lots of color!
I personally love their style, and man did their wedding have style. There were pops of bright blue and yellow in everything from the guests’ clothing, to Carolyn’s bouquet, to their invitations, to the stained glass of Mercury Hall. Carolyn’s custom stitched shoes and Neil’s blue suit also deserve a shoutout. He even had a rotation of 4 different bow ties to wear throughout the day.
We started the day at The Line, a gorgeously remodeled retro hotel downtown on the lake. They shared a first look in Arlo Grey, the hotel’s restaurant, which is absolutely covered in potted plants and vines (AKA my dream location). Then, we moved to Mercury Hall for the rest of the day + night.
Carolyn & Neil are the most welcoming, genuine, and loving people. All of this translated to their wedding day. Everyone had a blast celebrating them. 😊
