This is a birthday Jacquelyn will never forget! Yep, Marwan proposed on Jacquelyn’s birthday, and it was the perfect way to totally surprise her. Here’s how it happened.👇

Jacquelyn & Marwan met on Bumble and immediately clicked. They were living in Seattle at the time and had their first date at a local brewery on 7/19/2018. Spoiler alert – this date is now engraved on her ring!

Now, they live in Colorado. (Along with Washington, this is another one of my favorite states, so they clearly have good taste 🏔🌲). To celebrate Jacquelyn’s birthday, they planned a weekend trip to Austin. Like any good ATX trip, they spent a day driving through the hill country visiting wineries.

At the end of the day, their last stop was Fall Creek Vineyards in Driftwood, one of my favorite wineries. After a private wine tasting, Marwan suggested they walk through the vineyard to check out the property.

As they walked up to a giant oak tree, Jacquelyn heard music playing – a string quartet version of “A Tale as Old as Time” – and saw a wooden swing, covered in candles and rose petals. It was a sunny January day, and the sunset light was glowing. It was the perfect setting for Marwan’s proposal.

And can we talk about Jacquelyn’s gorgeous emerald engagement ring?? Marwan choose this ring because green is her favorite color, and she wanted the ring to be ethically sourced. 💚
