Katie emailed me about her plans to propose to her girlfriend Molly. Years ago, they went to Mount Bonnell for their first date in Austin, so Katie knew this was 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘵.⁣

Molly loves taking photos, so we decided to plan a ‘couples session’ just after sunrise. Of course, this wasn’t just a regular session.👀⁣

Katie knew this fake photo session might make Molly a lil suspicious, but knowing how smart Molly is, she decided it was worth the risk because there may not be 𝘢𝘯𝘺 way to get Molly at Mount Bonnell at sunrise in nice clothes.😂Understandable.⁣

Katie was sure to throw in some fake clues and confusing information to make Molly doubt whether she was realllllly proposing that morning. And it worked!⁣

A few minutes into the session, we arrived at the perfect spot, and Katie proposed! 💍 There were tears, and it was beautiful. But theeeennnnn…⁣

It turns out that Molly had her own surprise planned. She had been carrying a ring in her backpack for awhile. She knew Katie wanted to propose first, but she wanted to be ready when the time came.💍💍 AMAZING.

And after that, Katie’s parents basically popped out of the bushes with champagne.
