Wineries may be my personal favorite place for proposals. What’s better than proposing in a totally relaxed, resort-like setting, with beautiful nature, and well, wine?🍷😋

Dallas & Bella live in Nashville, and came to Austin to visit family. Bella’s aunt & uncle are members of several wineries around the hill country, and they know all the best spots. When they suggested touring Uplift Vineyard in Burnet, Bella didn’t suspect a thing, because this was a normal outing for the family.

Uplift Vineyard is relatively new to the William Chris family of wineries, and y’all… it’s amazing. The drive to their property is beautiful, surrounded by rolling hills as you weave through country roads. Because the vineyard is open by reservation only, it’s super private and a great place to propose. 💍

Their big family split into two groups: girls and guys. The guys arrived first, met with me to review the plan, and prepared for the proposal. I walked with Dallas through the vineyards to show him the best spot for his proposal. Dallas’ parents also drove in from DFW as a surprise, and we snuck them inside the building. Minutes later, the girls arrived, and the plan was set into motion!

Dallas walked with Bella to the vineyard, while the family ran upstairs to watch the proposal from a balcony. From my hiding spot, I began taking photos as I watched them walk into the field.

Everything went perfectly! After his proposal, the group enjoyed a wine tasting and after-party to celebrate.
