Meet Allyson & Brendan! They selected my associate photographer Emily to be their photographer for their wedding and engagement photos. In April, A&B took their engagement photos at their venue, Shiraz Garden in Bastrop near Austin.

When Emily shared these photos with me to edit, I was in awe. 😍 Their outfits, the relaxed yet carefree feel of the poses, the lighting… it all came together so well! Also, Allyson’s hair is just perfection.

Allyson & Brendan got engaged in Marfa on a mountain top hike, so the overlooks, forests, and fields were the perfect place for their engagement photos.

I think Allyson’s first email to me says it all…

“We are so excited to get married at Shiraz for its natural beauty, plus we absolutely love the outdoors. We want our photos to capture the venue’s amazing views and our love for each other in a simple but beautiful way.”

Later she said…

“We love the combined elegance and natural aspects of Shiraz Garden. The Mediterranean feel of the structure/water garden is so unique, and we’re looking forward to only needing minimal decorations since the venue is already so beautiful! The trees and nature spaces are just inspiring.”

Wow! Shiraz Garden could hire Allyson to market the venue. 😆 She describes it so well.

Their engagement photos look relaxed, beautiful, and feature the nature of the venue. Emily, Allyson & Brandan all did such a great job! We can’t wait for their wedding later this year. 😊
